As part of its commitment to foster sustainable trade promotion services in the countries where it works, the USAID Southern Africa Trade and Investment Hub has inked a partnership agreement with the Namibia Network of the Cosmetics Industry (NANCi). The partnership will enable the USAID TradeHub to forge new market linkages for the network’s members with potential buyers in South Africa and the United States. NANCi’s membership manufactures cosmetic and food products as well as supplies the all-natural ingredients that go into them. The 30 member companies are targeting both the South African and U.S. markets. In addition to linking them with prospective buyers in both countries, the USAID TradeHub will assist NANCi members by supporting their efforts to earn certification and boosting their awareness of U.S. market entry requirements. Both objectives will be addressed through upcoming USAID TradeHub webinars.
